Глагол-сказуемое главного предложения следует ставить в сослагательное наклонение I, которое совпадает по форме с будущим простым в прошедшем (Future Simple in the Past). Глагол-сказуемое придаточного предложения в сослагательное наклонение I, которое совпадает по форме с прошедшим совершенным временем (Past Perfect Tense), например:
Сегодня мы бы поехали на дачу, если бы вчера я починил машину. – Today we would go to the country if yesterday I had repaired the car.
2. Действие в главном предложении относится к прошедшему времени (соответствует 3-му типу главного условного предложения). Действие в придаточном предложении относится к настоящему или будущему (соответствует 2-му типу придаточного условного предложения).

4-й тип при согласовании времен
Он сказал, что если бы вчера он починил машину, сегодня они бы поехали на дачу. – He said that if the day before he had repaired the car, that day they would go to the country.
Он сказал, что если бы сегодня погода была хорошей, вчера, они бы услышали об этом по радио. – He said that if that day the weather were fine, the day before they would have heard about it on the radio.

Если бы я не знала истинного положения дел (if I not know..* …real situation), я бы предположила, что (I assume.. that) сейчас (then) она работает (she currently work..) над (on) финансовым отчётом (…financial report).
Если бы он не увидел этого своими собственными глазами (if he not see.. it with his own eyes/ saw/ seen), он бы не верила, что (he not believe.. that) та работает над ним (she work.. on it) на протяжении (for) нескольких часов (several hours).
Если бы мы спросили её о том, как продвигается работа (if we ask.. her how …work
go..), она бы заверила нас, что (she assure.. that) она (she) уже сверила (already verify..) многие данные (many data).
Если бы мы не знали их истории, мы бы, наверное, сказали (if we not know..* their story, we probably say..), что (that) они (they) жили (live) в США (in the USA).
Если бы мы владели иной информацией, мы бы не говорили (If we have.. another information, we not say../ had/ had), что (that) они жили здесь (there) на протяжении (for) одного года (one year).
Если бы нас спросили, мы бы сказали (if we be..* asked, we answer../ were), что (that) жили здесь некоторое время (we live.. there for some time) до того, как (before) переехали (we move..) в Испанию (to Spain).
